Today, HMI is the leading supplier of EBI tools for both foundry and memory fabs worldwide. Based on our proprietary electron gun and column technologies and highly effective defect inspection algorithms, we deliver multiple product lines, including eScan® Series / ePTM Series / eXplore® Series, for various R&D and production applications.

HMI has always been looking for ways to continuously improve our quality and challenge ourselves with higher standard.
Base on this founding principle, HMI decided to adopt CMMI into its software processes.
CMMI is a rigorous software engineering approach pioneered by Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute and United State Department of Defense.
It is also a highly valued characteristic by major companies in the semiconductor industry.
HMI started implementing ML2 practices in late 2010, and was appraised with CMMI ML2 appraisal a year after on December 16 2011.

The quality management system of ISO 9001 was verified by UL-DQS.
The initial cycle was certified in Feb. of 2007.
The second cycle was certified and upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 version in
Jan. of 2010. |
